1. Your account

You need a Google or Apple sign-in to play online. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure.

Nicknames are public and must not be offensive, impersonate others, or infringe anyone's rights. We may rename or remove accounts that violate this.

You must meet the minimum age required by your app store and local law to create an account.

2. Fair play

Dice & Chess is built around server-verified competition: every move, dice roll, clock, and result in online play is decided by our servers, not by any player's device.

Cheating in any form — automated play, exploiting bugs, tampering with the client or network traffic, boosting, or account sharing for rating gain — is prohibited.

We may investigate suspicious play and apply penalties ranging from result corrections to permanent bans. Competitive integrity outranks any individual account.

3. Virtual items and currency

The game includes virtual currencies (such as gold and gems) and cosmetic items. They are licensed to you for use in the game, are not your property, have no real-world monetary value, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the game.

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; their refund policies apply. Except where law requires otherwise, purchases are final.

We may adjust prices, availability, and the design of virtual items as the game evolves. We will not remove a cosmetic you purchased without a reasonable replacement or equivalent value.

4. Service availability

Dice & Chess is an online service in active development. We may add, change, or retire features, run maintenance, or suspend the service where necessary. We aim for maximum uptime but cannot promise uninterrupted availability.

5. Intellectual property

The game, this website, and everything in them — code, art, logos, names, text, and design — are owned by Dice & Chess or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the game for your own entertainment. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except where law permits.

Sharing screenshots and videos of the game (including monetized content creation) is welcome and encouraged.

6. Termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, harm other players, or threaten the service. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The game and website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for willful misconduct.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the game grows. Material changes will be announced in the game or on this website, and the date above will change. Continued play after an update means you accept the new Terms.
