Privacy Policy
Last updated July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Dice & Chess (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our game and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to run a fair, competitive online game — and we do not sell your data.
1. Information we collect in the game
Account information. You sign in with Google or Apple. We receive a unique account identifier and, depending on your provider settings, your email address. You choose a public nickname; it does not have to be your real name.
Gameplay data. To operate ranked play we store your matches (moves, results, clocks and dice rolls), trophy count, arena, win/loss statistics, puzzle progress, and the cosmetics you own and equip.
Purchase records. If you buy optional cosmetics, the app store processes the payment. We never see your card details — we receive only a receipt needed to credit your account.
Technical data. Basic device and connection information (such as platform and app version) used for compatibility, security, and fixing crashes.
2. Information we collect on this website
The website is informational and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider records standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to keep the site secure and available.
If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to respond.
3. How we use your information
To run the game: matchmaking, live matches, rankings, rewards, and cloud-saving your progress across devices.
To keep play fair: our servers validate every move, roll, and result, and we analyze gameplay records to detect cheating and abuse.
To improve the game: aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, mode popularity) guide what we build next.
To communicate: service messages about your account or important changes to the game.
4. What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to running Dice & Chess.
5. Where your data lives
Game data is stored with vetted infrastructure providers (our database and authentication run on Supabase; live match servers run on Google Cloud). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and protected by strict access rules — only our game servers can write competitive results.
6. Your rights and choices
You can view most of your data directly in the app (profile, statistics, match history).
You can delete your account from within the game. Deletion removes your personal details and permanently disables the account; anonymized match records are retained because they are part of other players' game histories and our anti-cheat evidence.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights (such as access, correction, or portability). Contact us and we will honor them.
7. Children
Dice & Chess is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the game. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
